Ok so yes, it is a few hours late. And yes, it’s a recycled dead baby joke. But the important thing is, you still get a holiday comic! Yay!
Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving (well, those of you who are Americans and who celebrate the holiday). Mine was good times. There really is no better way to give thanks for all of the good things in your life than with a day of gluttony.
You know… whatever did happen to Earl?
There’s a comic called “Imagine This” that did a thanks giving special over several days. I could link to it but I’m lazy (as well as gluttonous, I’m making biscotti as I type this) so you can google it if you want. I found it funny… silly turkeys! The one in this comic shows much more sense!
I bet if the turkey scoop was fried it would taste great.
Seriously though, “fry this, fry that” etc. Ugh. It seems that some believe dousing any (semi) edible product in boiling hot oil (or whatever they use for that stuff) makes it taste better.
And after partly reading (not done yet) Nietzsche’s “On the Genealogy of Morality” I feel compelled to say this: That Turkey is the debtor and the creditor wants his “scoop”, er I mean, “Pound” of flesh.
And the comments on Nietzsche and fried food are barely even connected to the comic. I think it’s a talent really.
Oh, he’s around somewhere… biding his time… just waiting for the right moment to strike again
