This comic is really just an excuse to display some of the fun I’ve been having with a laser pointer and long exposure settings on my camera. So yes – these drawings really are made of lasers. Doesn’t get much more awesome than that, does it?
The pop philosophy/physics they’re referring to is The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. I’ve never read it so I don’t even have a clear idea of what the claim that reality is holographic is supposed to mean, but it sure does sound cool.
This has always been an interesting question.
The conclusion that I have come to is that it is largely irrelevant. So what if reality functions differently than we perceive? As long as everything works within our possible perception of reality I don’t see much chance of conflicts arising.
Well…until we are overthrown by alien ghosts from the 5th dimension that is.
Haha, I never expected you to use that laser for a comic.
Yeah.. I thought about doing all comics in laser, but it’s much too time consuming
