Good guess, but this time it was my other favorite philosophical solution – zombies!
I definitely misread the red guy’s dialogue in the first panel as “You done killed your grandfather” and was wondering what a southern man had to do with time travel

Time travel AND zombies? Philosophy at its finest, my friend. Although, if you could somehow work dinosaurs and robots into this storyline I would consider it a personal holiday miracle!
